STEP 3: OUR PART
From these donations, we put together and distribute personalized backpacks stuffed with necessities and goodies kids will need to feel like they have something of their own - and at the very least - feel at home in their new living space. We distribute our Give Back Packs to Foster and Adoptive Parent Development Team of Orange County Social Services, whom we support exclusively for now, though our goal is to grow and support more.
YOUR SUPPORT MEANS... EVERYTHING
For many foster children, life is filled with continual change and uncertainty. Most have come from abusive and broken homes. Some of these children are so young, the idea of suddenly being shuffled to a stranger's home is scarier than the brutal reality they may be facing at home. We want to soften this blow. We want to let them know people care. These children may have come from difficult beginnings, but we want every foster child to know that there are people out there rooting for them. Many of them feel rejected and thrown away. We want to empower them with pride and the gift of brand new belongings.

INVOLVE YOUR OWN KIDS
Many of us have our own children whom we love and adore beyond words. Our children go to theme parks and have exciting birthdays and holidays. But we need to remember those children who don't get to enjoy the lifestyle our kids do.
We are always thrilled if you want to create your very own Give Back Pack and send it to us. If you have children, involve them in the "giving back" process by taking them to the store and having them help pick out items.

Everyone loves a deal! We've all been to Old Navy and Target and seen amazing discounts on pajamas or clothing that we can't use. At The Give Back Pack we say when you shop, pick up something extra. Buy those $2 pajamas or 2 for 1 shoes. Buy for any age. Foster children need it all and every little bit helps!

Once you've got your deals, send us the merchandise. We'll often share deals that include free shipping to make sending your donation as cost effective as possible. You can even include a personal note to a child so they know someone out there is thinking of them! Just write a note on our Contact Us page. We will print it out and include it in the pack your merchandise is included in. Drop your donation in the mail or send to us directly via your online purchase.
